I’m Brandi Roman, a communicator, creative strategist, and connector at heart. A proud graduate of Florida A&M University’s School of Journalism & Graphic Communication, I’ve spent the past few years shaping my voice through storytelling, leadership, and community-centered work. What started as a passion for writing evolved into something much greater: a deep commitment to using my voice and my strategic mind to create meaningful impact for brands and the communities they serve.

During my time at FAMU, I had the opportunity to lead Journey Magazine — first as its Public Relations Director, then as Managing Editor, where I learned how to build both narratives and teams. Whether I was amplifying student voices through editorial campaigns or navigating the dynamics of creative production, I became more than a student leader; I became a visionary thinker who understands how to bring people and ideas together.

Now, as a marketing professional in the tech space, I get to do that every day — helping national brands reach their audiences with intention, backed by data and creativity. But what drives me hasn’t changed. I’m still fueled by curiosity. Still driven by purpose. Still committed to building strategies that are as thoughtful as they are effective.

I believe the most powerful work happens at the intersection of story and strategy — when we take the time to understand people, meet them where they are, and speak to what matters. That belief guides everything I do, from client work to personal projects, and it’s what I hope to keep bringing into every space I grow into.
